Brig. K.K.V. Khanzode, VSM, Director of SIG served in the Indian Army for over 35 years and has vast experience in management of material and human resources at operational level on the borders and at various formation headquarters including the Indian Army Headquarters at New Delhi. He was closely associated with establishment of two Imagery Interpretation Teams at higher formation levels.

Symbiosis Institute of Geoinformatics was established in 2004 with an aim to provide skilled and professional manpower equipped with the latest trends in geospatial science and technology to industry growing worldwide.
